Announcing the Centre for Reproduction and Genomics "Focus on" Seminar Series

The Focus On seminar series is a new bimonthly seminar series organised and hosted by the joint AgResearch-University of Otago Centre for Reproduction and Genomics. This new seminar series utilises a mini-conference format to help researchers working in the broad areas of reproduction and genomics, whether it be on human, model systems or agricultural species, rapidly find areas of commonality amongst the breadth of scientific activity being conducted.

The Focus On format brings together four or more speakers to present for up to 20 minutes on research they have recently done, are doing, or plan to do in a two hour time slot every second month, with the aim of stimulating discussion, finding common themes amongst the work of participants, which may ultimately led to new research questions, approaches and partnerships. Following presentations an open forum discussion, during which light refreshments will be served. The Focus On seminar series is open to all.
